Two Worlds

Torn between two worlds, not knowing where to stand.
I sail aimlessly into the depths of an endless sea of sand.

I’d go and burn candles in that dark… unknown mysterious shell.
Wished to fall and rest in peace in this two-side open well.

Learning to spell their success, I played to lose my all.
Flown to the heights where I could see clearly the games, wondered why I intended suddenly to stall.

I saw the good-looking stranger in the mirror, they liked.
The shell fell into my abyss, out of their memory, out of sight.

I bid my friend a silent, unheard farewell,
He took my heart – the last me, a reason I’d come to visit him in the shell.

They said they loved me, that’s why I must change.
I heard the last hearty laugh! The shell… was going out of range.
