You didnt tell me why

I wish you could understand, wonder if you’d even try,
Why I chose to walk away, why forced myself to say “goodbye”,
It isn’t easy for me; I’m so bad I can’t even lie
Why would you open the doors I was tryin’ to close... Please tell me why?

I can’t fight this feeling; no I’m not that strong,
I thought it was over, but you just knocked on my door n proved me wrong,
I opened the door to let you in; couldn’t make you wait for long,
Here I sit n wonder now for whom you wish to write your love song.

Give in to you or give up on you… I don’t know which one,
I take my heart seriously; maybe you play with ‘em for fun,
You are here with me all the time, there’s nowhere I can hide or run,
If you think you’re not the one for me, then let me find my special someone?

I love you, but can’t let my heart break again,
Please leave me now, if you ever wish to, for I don’t want any pain,
I lose, you win…. If for you it’s just a game,
I want you to be happy, but this time I want the same.
